It is now the law that any house which is being sold or rented has to have an up-to-date BER rating certificate. John O’Sullivan is a registered BER assessor with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and so can do this survey for you.
The SEAI are also providing grants for a 'before and after works' BER assessment of your house. This means that if you are getting grant-aided improvements to your house you can also have 2 BER assessments done - one before and one after the work, in order to better measure the efficiency achieved.
